Germ Free Librarian

Today my only female pre-schooler told me that I am the only boy she knows who is not ICKY!
I take that as being a huge compliment.
It made my day.

Noun =

In my Babytime program this morning, (the happiest of all mornings that I can think of because those babies are just so cute!) I was talking with one of my regular patrons who has two of the cutest sons I have ever seen.
This mom is also a school teacher and we were talking about the funniest things that she has ever heard of seen in her class room.
Her personal favourite was on a test a student was asked to define a noun. The child wrote "A place, her person and her thing"
I think that is hysterical.
If only that is really what a noun is, sounds much better than Vagina.

I do my dance in the round

I realized while walking home from the gym that I have made a large error.
This error is entirely personal and it affects/effects really no one but me.
But it is an error nonetheless.
Growing up where I did, with the parents I had was not easy. And one of the ways that I mentaly got myself through it was to tell myself that one day I would be free of them.

One day.

Well one day came and went and I did not take notice as I was still so pre-occupied with all of my history.

I regret that I did that.
I wish I had seen that I had the freedom that I do.

I think this may call for a celebration of some kind.

My babies are back (sort of, kind of, just for a moment)

My favourite band has just announced the release of their greatest hits.

I miss them.

But I also look forward to this album.

I am torn.

I hope that in some format they continue on making music.

I find it sad that they have had a demise, even if they chose it.
